His products continue to beautify and become more functional, he made waves with the release of his first bike, he acquired the Taskrabbit on-demand handyman service, and now its long-awaited and much-publicized collaboration with contemporary Danish design studio Hay is officially launched.
Dubbed Ypperlig, Swedish for “excellent,” the series is made up of modern, functional basics – an antidote to the utilitarian starter pieces found in apartments around the world. The collection, made up of over 60 items, includes stripped-down wood furniture with clean, stained ash veneer, injection-molded chairs (read: no assembly!)
