Here’s how to buy an NVIDIA RTX 30 GPU on Black Friday
Graphics cards have been a hassle to buy in recent years. Whether it’s the global pandemic, the chip shortage, the crypto mining craze, or all of the above, it’s the PC gamers who have paid the price (literally). they buy from scalpers). Even Black Friday hasn’t done much so far to lend a hand, but HP may have a way for you to get a GPU.
The HP Omen 30L is a brilliant PC. We’ve reviewed it favorably and it’s just standard parts unlike some system builders (looking at you, Dell). The best part is that it’s on sale right now and inside you have the choice of the RTX 30 series GPU including the best graphics card.
HP Omen 30L (RTX 3060)
This is the lowest model we would choose with an Intel Core i5-11400 processor, RTX 3060 GPU, 256GB SSD, and 8GB of DDR4-3200 RAM. You can configure it yourself to have up to an Intel Core i7, 64GB RAM, 3070 Ti and a 2TB SSD.

HP Omen 30L (RTX 3080)
The next step brings us to the RTX 3080 GPU, upgrading our processor to an Intel Core i7-10700K with 8GB of DDR4-3200 RAM and a 256GB SSD. You can add all of that to an RTX 3090, an Intel Core i9 , 64 GB of RAM and a 2 TB SSD.

HP Omen 30L (RTX 3080 Ti)
This is where things get really interesting for the 30L. For that price, you can get an 11th gen Core i7 processor, RTX 3080 Ti, 32GB of RAM, 2TB hard drive, and 512GB SSD. If you want a PC that will last for years, that’s is what you need.
$ 2,400 at HP
There is an HP Omen 30L with a 2060 SUPER, but we wouldn’t recommend it as it costs only $ 100 less than the RTX 3060 setup and the latter is a much superior GPU. The RTX 3060 is a beastly graphics card that can hit well above its weight and even run games comfortably at 1440p.
The RTX 3080 and above are for those who want the best of the best. Looking at the price of GPUs at retailers and classifieds sites, you can easily spend up to $ 1,000 on a single RTX 3060, without any additional parts.
By buying a pre-built PC (and we’re monitoring the best Black Friday pre-built gaming PC deals) and using it as the main gaming rig or mining the GPU and selling the rest of the parts, you can save considerably. But if you don’t feel like shell out for an entire system, we’re monitoring the best Black Friday PC parts deals, so be sure to keep an eye out for this hub in case a GPU deal goes live.
