Restaurants in the Capital Region and other food vendors have the following plans for dining on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day during the hours indicated. The kitchen table (formerly New World Bistro Bar), 300 Delaware Ave., Albany. 518-694-0520. Christmas Eve: from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. from the regular menu with holiday options (to be confirmed). Christmas Day: Closed. New Year’s Eve: Seats at 5 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. for a choice of 4-course menu, including a glass of prosecco. The regular menu will not be available. New Year’s Day: Dinner from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. from a holiday menu (to be confirmed).

McGreivey’s, 91 Broad Street, Waterford. 518-238-202. Seating from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, both evenings from the regular menu plus holiday services (to be confirmed). Closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

First at Saratoga National, Saratoga National Golf Course, 458 Union Ave., Saratoga Springs. 518-583-4653. Christmas Eve: 5 to 7 all day from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Regular menu with holiday elements. Christmas Day: Closed. December 26 to 30 and January 2: Lunch and dinner every day from the regular menus. New Year’s Eve: Lunch from 11:30 am, dinner from 5:30 pm Details of the dinner menu to be confirmed. New Year’s Day: Brunch, 11 am to 2 pm; lunch from 11:30 am, dinner from 5:30 pm Menus to be determined.

Rivers Casino & Resort, 1, rue Rush, Schenectady. 518-579-8850. New Year’s Eve from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the Event Center with the group Funk Evolution. Dance, party favors, cash bar and midnight toast in a room decorated with neo and luminous lights. Advance tickets $ 25 online, $ 30 on the day of the event or at the door. Dukes Chophouse at the casino will be open daily during the holidays, with special dinners available in addition to its regular menu from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Christmas Eve, 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Christmas Day, and 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Christmas Day. ‘New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Dukes’ regular menu will also be available. The other restaurants in the casino will be served daily during the holidays.

Yono’s / dp: an American brewery, 25 Chapel Street, Albany. 518-436-7747. Yono’s holiday tasting menus for New Year’s Eve: three courses at $ 118, eight at $ 179 (regular and premium wine pairings available). Its neighboring brother, dp: An American Brasserie, will serve its regular menu as well as holiday dishes. Both will be seated from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. on New Years Eve and will be closed on December 24, 25 and January 1.


Capriccio Cafe, 49 Grand Street, Albany. 518-465-0439. Christmas Eve: Family celebration to take away (details to be confirmed). Closed on Christmas Day, full for New Years Eve. New Year’s Day: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. for the regular menu and the $ 90 holiday tasting menu.

Dee Dee’s Tavern, 647 Watervliet Shaker Road, Latham. 518-785-4410. Christmas Eve: From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. with the regular menu. Christmas Day: 11 a.m. until late with the regular menu and the Holiday roast pork dinner ($ 26.95). New Year’s Eve: 11 a.m. until late with the regular menu, karaoke without blanket and midnight toast. New Year’s Day: 11 a.m. until late with the regular menu and brunch specials.

Milano restaurant and wine bar, 594 New Loudon Road (Newton Plaza), Latham. 518-783-3334. Dinner: Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, 11:30 am to 2:00 pm at noon from the regular menu; dinner, public holiday at fixed price (to be confirmed, regular menu not available). Take-out meals (cooked, reheatable): Three-course dinner for two ($ 78 for salmon, $ 98 for filet mignon or rack of lamb). Additional a la carte dinner sides are also available, as is a whole beef tenderloin ($ 260 for eight people) and a la carte sides. Order by December 18 for a 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. pickup on December 24 and by December 27 for a 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. New Years Eve pickup.

Tara kitchen, 1785 Western Ave., Guilderland; 431, rue de la Liberté, Schenectady; and 172 River St., Troy. Feast of the Seven Fish to go for pickup at 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve, $ 80 to serve two people. Order online before December 23. Open during regular hours for on-site catering, take-out and delivery on Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. Closed on Christmas Day.

Novo Tavern, 62 Beekman Street, Saratoga Springs. 518-886-1680. A la carte menu and regular menu of the Festin des sept poisson from 4 p.m. on December 23, 24, 26 and 27. Takeout available only by phone, not through third-party delivery apps. Closed on Christmas Day. New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day: Limited holiday menu (to be confirmed, no regular menu) from 4 p.m.

The town tavern, 2850 Route 43, Parc Averill. 518-674-3040. Regular menu with holiday features: Christmas Eve, 11:30 am to 4 pm; Christmas Day, closed; New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, catering from 11:30 am to 9:00 pm, bar open later.

A variety of complete holiday meals, as well as a la carte main courses, sides and desserts, including turkey and ham dinners ($ 69.99 to $ 159.99), quiches ($ 25 ), roast beef, pork and lamb and turkey. Order online by December 21 for a pickup December 21-24.

Co-operative of honest weight, 100 Watervliet Ave, Albany. 518-482-2667 ext. 254. Holiday catering menu consisting of starters, main courses, sides and homemade desserts, with a variety of vegan and gluten-free items. Portions are typically sized for groups, with appetizer platters available to serve 10-12 and 20-24. Order by December 21 for a December 24 pickup. 28 on New Year’s Eve.

Mazzone Hotel, 743 Pierce Road, Clifton Park. 518-583-3003. Cooked and reheatable holiday meals, including starters, sides and desserts, all sized to serve 10 people. The available entrees are the roast turkey ($ 280), the ham cooked in honey spiral ($ 320), the prime rib ($ 355) and the beef tenderloin ($ 410). A variety of sides, condiments and other items are also available à la carte. Order online before December 19th. Pickup is from noon to 6 p.m. on December 23 and 9 a.m. to noon on December 24. Delivery, $ 75 more, within 30 miles of Clifton Park, Dec. 24.

Rollin ‘Smoke artisanal barbecue, 222 Guideboard Road, Halfmoon. 518-903-9906. Prime rib roast, 5 pounds minimum (feeds up to six), $ 25 per pound. Accompaniments including smoked mac-n-cheese, baked beans, coleslaw and macaroni or potato salad, in half and full molds, $ 20 to $ 60. Order by December 20 for Christmas Eve, December 28 for New Years Eve. Pick up is noon to 5 pm both days.

Saati Catering & Catering, 586 New Loudon Road (Newton Plaza), Latham. 518-783-1600. Complete, cooked and reheatable Christmas Eve or Christmas Day meals: $ 199 to feed four to six, $ 299 to serve 10 to 12, for turkey or ham; add $ 100 to each size for the filet mignon. Many additional items are also available à la carte. Order by December 21 for a 9am – noon pickup on Christmas Eve. Delivery, $ 50 more. Regular catering menu available to order for New Years Eve pickup.

Hagia Sophia Greek Orthodox Church, 440 Whitehall Road, Albany. Sale of holiday pastries with almond cookies, baklava, pumpkin roll, spanikopita and more. Order by December 17 for a 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. pickup on December 17 and 9 a.m. to noon on December 18.

Via Fresca, 1666 Western Ave., Guilderland. 518-452-1179. Take away meals for Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, to take away hot or to reheat from 11 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on both days. Appetizer platters, most sized to feed 10 people, cost $ 40 to $ 99; entrees, including fra diavolo shrimp or langoustines, French chicken and manicotti, cost $ 50 to $ 90 to feed eight to 10 people, $ 95 to $ 170 for 18 to 20 guests. Orders must be placed by December 20 for Christmas Eve pickup and December 27 for New Years Eve.
