Aldi Super Six items reduced to just 9p from Christmas Eve

Budget supermarket chain Aldi has not allowed the holiday season to stop carrying its Super Six offers in stores nationwide.

The promotion returned earlier this month to the delight of shoppers and the latest pick is expected to cut costs over the Christmas period.

The staple vegetables for the holidays are reduced to just 9 pence from Christmas Eve, helping to reduce potential food waste.

As part of its commitment to reducing its own food waste, Aldi is ensuring that its surplus food is better used through its food donation program. Food waste at home can also be valued by turning it into new meals.

To help Christmas cooks avoid going broke this season, Aldi has once again reduced the price of its six most popular Christmas vegetables, including carrots (1 kg), white potatoes (2 kg), parsnips (500g), red and white cabbages (each), Swedish (each) and Brussels sprouts (500g).

Buyers will be delighted to know that the selection of fresh and delicious vegetables is sourced entirely from UK suppliers, with whom Aldi works carefully to ensure that the incredible offers do not come at the expense of the producers.

Regardless of the prices in the store, producers receive the same fair price as usual.

Christmas Super Six offers are available in stores nationwide starting December 24 for a limited time. Aldi’s website is home to a host of easy recipes for using your Christmas leftovers, visit www.aldi.co.uk/christmas-leftovers.
